Peter Soukup
Pete Soukup has been playing trombone professionally for over 30 years.
He graduated from Augustana College having played with the Concert Band,
Orchestra, and Jazz Band. Professional groups he was a member of during
that era included Clifton Manor, Brass Tax, and Something For The People.
He was the Music Director for high school productions of "Fiddler on
the Roof" and "Camelot", in East Moline, Illinois, and has played as a pit
orchestra member for "West Side Story", "Annie", "South Pacific",
"Brigadoon", and ³Follies².
He has recently performed as a member of the Moody Memorial Church
Easter Festival Orchestra, and the Moody Memorial Church Patriotic Orchestra.
He also has been a member of the DuPage Symphony Orchestra, is an
alternate with the West Suburban Symphony Orchestra, and has recorded with a
local rock group, "The Houndz".
He is currently a member of The Houndz, Grand Avenue Big Band, The
Moonlighters, St. Andrew¹s Brass Quintet, the Naperville Area Trombone
Ensemble, and Resurrection Brass.
